Concert Manager
Ben has also worked as concert manager for both Headington Singers and Murmuration choirs. In 2019 Ben concert managed a 400 ticket sell-out show with Murmuration Choir, live bands Messadorm and Aniya Savage and a host of circus and dance performers at Circomedia in Bristol (see photo).

Composer
Ben Mowat has composed several works for large choir and smaller vocal ensembles.
Commissioned by Headington Singers Choir, Oxford to compose a tango inspired piece in 2013.
In 2011 Ex Collegio Choir recorded his setting of Psalm 28.

Score Preparation & Transcription
Ever since Bristols "progressive pop" choir was born, Ben has been working with founding choir director Isolde Freeth-Hale to transcribe and score her multi-tracked recored arrangements of songs by the likes of Bjork and Radiohead. Meticulous in detail and accuracy, Ben Mowat has produced over 10 professional scores enabling the choir to rehearse their unique repertoire.
